In Conversation With Arun

Yeah,You Read It Right. It’s My Conversation With Arun. Arun Is Not a Philosopher, Scientist,Actor, Writer Or Politician. He Is Surely Not Tom Cruise, Donald Trump Or Albert Einstein. He Is Not The One Whose Opinion Matters Or Even Heard. But I Decided To Hear It. Me and Arun However Belong To The Same Social Class and We are Not Elite Definitely But There’s a Difference. I Know That World Doesn’t Care About Me and Arun Doesn’t Care About The World. He Is a 14 To 15 Or Maybe 19 Years Old Boy As He Tell Others and He Makes Tea On a Dhaba Near My Workplace.

It’s Winter Here So I Went To His Dhaba at Sharp Eight For Some Tea. He Was Listening To a Vulgar Bhojpuri Song on His Mobile While Chewing Gutkha Or Tobacco and Singing along With It. I asked Him To make The Tea and Stop The Song Because It’s Too Vulgar For Even Me and He Was a Kid.

” What are You Listening at The age Of Studying ? What You Will Become After Listening This Shit ” I asked.

” I am a Fan Of Pawan Singh (Bhojpuri Actor).

” Don’t You Study ? I mean You are Still a Kid ?

Humara Baap Madarchod Hai (My Father Is a Motherfucker. He Has Four Sons and Two Daughters. He Says That If You Want Food Then Earn First. On My Fourteenth Birthday He Packed My Back and Kicked My Ass and Send Me To Delhi. Every Month He Calls Me For Money. Shop Owner Gives Me Five Thousands and Food. Out Of Which I send Four Thousand To Him Every Month. I Work Here For Thirteen To Fourteen Hours. Now You Tell Me How I Can Study ? “

He Replied Angrily. Maybe He Was Too Much Frustrated Or Had Already Smoked His Ganja Or Weed. But I Sense The Pain In His Eyes. ” Don’t You Want To Return ? ” I asked.

Jaayenge Shadi Karne ( I Will Return Only To Marry ). Bahuriya Ko Bhi Saath Delhi Laayenge ( I will Take My Wife Along With Me To Delhi.” He Replied With an Exotic Smile.

” Only This You Want To Do In Your Life ? “

” Then What Should I Do Bhaiya ? People Like Me are Born To Die. We are The Unwanted and We are Too Much In Numbers. People Don’t Buy Condoms. They Enjoy and Threw Us In The World. People Like Us Have Same Fate. We Eat,We Sleep,We Fuck,We Earn,We Raise Kids and Die. That’s It. In Childhood Our Parents Leave Us For Money and In Old-age Our Children Leave Us For Money. Now I Have Only One Dream That I Want To Marry. “

” You are Talking Such Big Things In Such a Small Age. But Still You Don’t Miss Home ? ” I asked.

” I Missed My Gori – My Cow. She Used To Lick My Cheek In The Morning To Wake Me Up. I Used To Drink Her First Milk Of The Morning Along With Her Calf. She Love Me More Than Anyone Else.

Arun and His Gori ( Just Imaging )

Here In Delhi I Don’t See Too Many Cows. I See Only Girls With Boobs and In This Corona Time I am Not able To See Even Them. ” He Replied Smilingly.

Waah Beta Tarakki Par Ho (You are Progressing Dude )” I Said Laughingly. Suddenly Someone Shouted ” Oye Bhakt Do Chai Le aa ” ( Oh ! Modi Fan Bring Two Cup Tea ). ” Are You a Modi Fan ? ” I asked Surprisingly.

Modi Jo Bhi Kar Rahe Hain Badiya Kar Rahe Hain (What Modi Is Doing Is Doing Right) . He Was also a Tea Seller. These Elite Rich Guys Can’t Bear The Fact That a Poor Mother’s Son Is Now Ruling Them. Sabki Jal Rahi Hai ( Everyone’s Ass Is Burning ). That’s Why They are Stopping Him Everytime By Spreading Rumours and Hatred. He Done Demonitization So The Rich are Burning But It’s We The Poor People Who Gave Him Power. He Is Our Brother”

He Was The First Guy I Met Who Praised The Prime Minister Whole Heartedly.

Karl Marx Was Right. There are Classes Of People But There are Not Only Two. There are Hundreds of Them. There are Categories and Sub Categories In Them and I am Sure There’s a Class War Going In India.

Karl Marx

But Marx Was Wrong. His Ideas Doesn’t Work Here. Here The Poor Guys are Religious and Nationalist While Most Of The Elite Rich are Marxists Or Socialist. They are Self Proclaimed Liberals Or Champagne Socialist. They Discuss Politics Over a Glass Of Whiskey While We Discuss It On Tea. Sides Switched But War Continues.

We Indians Hate Violence. We Don’t Use ” Eat The Rich” Idea. We Do It Democratically By Voting. Trust Me There’s Too Much Democracy In India. You Don’t Need That much Democracy. It’s Like Pure Oxygen. We Practically Can’t Breath Pure Oxygen.

Those Rich Elites Sitting In The Air Conditioned Rooms are Pretending Like India Is Going To Hell. Mr Prime Minister Is The Only Reason For It. It’s True Because They’re Saying It. If You Believe It Then It’s Ok Otherwise It’s Post Truth and You are Misleded By Hitler Like Propoganda. It’s Their Way Or Skyway. But For This Poor Guy He Is a Hero.

Modi – The Godfather

It May Sounds Like Jingoism To The Netflix Guys Who Consume Propoganda In a Subtle Manner But For This Poor Bhojpuriya Guy It Is Heroism. He Is Hope. He Is an Ideal For This Guy.

” But He Is a Communal Man. All He Does Is Hindu – Muslim. He Disturb Harmony. Do You Know That Last Year Muslims Were Protesting and This Year Sikh Farmers. Looks Like Winters are Not Lucky For Your Modi ” I Said Laughingly.

He Laugh and Laugh Too Much.

” You City Guys. You Live In Other World. You Live In Television. You are Totally Unaware Of Reality. First Of All He Is Not at All Communal and Even If He Is Then It’s Good “.

” What are You Saying ? ” I Was Shocked.

” When I Was Young My Grandfather Used To Tell Me Stories Of Horror In Gorakhpur and Why He Eloped From There. There Was Communal Harmony Because Nobody Dares To Speak. Almost Everyday a Girl Or Woman Was Kidnapped From Our Village and Was Raped By Nearby Muslim Villagers. Nobody Does Anything. No Police,No System, Nothing. Because If Anyone Does Something The So Called Social Harmony Comes Under Threat. They Use To Say ” Aaj Kiski Baji ” ( Who Is Being Raped Today ). That’s Why After My Father’s Marriage They Leave.

After That Mr Modi Came In Gujrat and Yogi Ji Came In Gorakhpur. Jab Jab Katuye Kaate Jaayenge Yogi Yogi Chillayenge (Whenever The Muslims Will Be Slayed They Will Chant Yogi- Yogi ) . Yogi Was The Parliamentarian Then From Gorakhpur and Now He Is The Chief Minister Of Uttar Pradesh ” He Told With a Sense Of Pride.

” Now These People are Silent. Now Our Mothers and Sisters are Safe Because Modi Is In Delhi and Yogi Ji Maharaj Is In Lucknow. We Got Justice”

I Was Shocked But Agreeing Little Bit To Him.

” What Happened Bhaiya,Why You Become Quite. What You Guys Have Seen In Life. ” He Smiled at Me and Went To Give Others Their Tea.

Maybe He Was Right. What I Have Seen In My Life. I am a Poor Blue Collar Worker Who Obviously Hate His Job as Most Of The Young Indians Do. I Have Done My Schooling From a Govt. School and Done Graduation Through Correspondence as Most Delhi Guys Do. I am Single as Most Of The Good Guys are. I am Just another Guy Who Is Dead at Twenty Five But Will Be Cremated at Sixty Five. I am Sad For Being Me.

On The Other Hand Arun Is Still alive. He Do What He Wants. He Is Unapologetic. He Don’t Care About Being Politically Correct. He Has a Reason To Live No Matter How Unreasonable It Sounds To Me. He Has Seen Bitter Days and He Has Beautiful Memories. Most Importantly He Has a Hero.

  1. Oh my, how complicated India is. The more I read about India the more I cry for a nation. Perhaps corruption is beyond hope. Humanity has no regulations. Overpopulation is massive. Pankansy my Hero where do you fit in that country?. You are so wise yet lived a million years already😔 clearly as a brilliant author there is a future for all to hear these words. Our Master will hear and recognize your talents

  3. Oh yes my friend, I’d tell a lot of this story (the ideology of Marx and the same big problem: Religion!) as it’s going on in Iran! Of course, the difference between our folks is the democracy, which as you wrote, yours have too much of it and we have barely! Great read. Stay tuned and thank you.

  4. Yeah,I Think Marxism Is Fundamentally Wrong as It Consider Humans as only Material Beings. That’s Why It Creates Problem Everywhere. To Be Precise It’s Inhuman. Thank You Very Much For Appreciating and Analysing 🙏🤗

  5. I think the idea is worth, I have read his book (das Kapital). He had given his best to find a perfect society but unfortunately, as the history showed that it is idealistic. He might never estimate the greed of man.

  6. I Think He Mistaken Humans as Materialistic Beings,Who Only Think about Satisfying Their Basic Needs. I Think He Is Not Idealistic But a Blood Thirsty Rebel Who Just Wanted To Bring The Change,No Matter How It Comes and What Will Be It’s Consequences. The Greed Is Actually a Thirst To Achieve, It’s Not Greed But ambition. He Does Maths But Humans are Not Numbers,They are Beings With Soul.🙏🙏🤗

  7. Yes,It Is and Biggest Thing Is That It’s Free To interpret. Anyone Can Perceive Same Thing In a Very Different Manner. What More Difficult Is To Implement That vision. Like Lenin and Stalin Interpreted Marx and Implemented It.🙏

  8. Well penned. I agree with Arun, it is the reality of slaves in India. They have lot many kids and are born to die with no education. Though they talk sense and are not afraid to speak on political issue to anyone unlike we the blue collars one, who actually are dead after getting educated, who slog hard to earn better bread.

  9. I Think We are Giving To Much Importance To Political Correctness Because Of Which Our Civilization Is Trapped In a Intellectual Civil War Of Ideas. Violence Can Emerge as a Final Step In This War. Our Thinkers are In Conflict With Our Workers. The People Who Actually Voted For a Political Ideology are Being Treated as Fools. This Is Creating a Gap Between Classes. Thank You Very Much For Appreciating 🙏🤗

  12. Pankanzy, this was a very well-written and interesting post. I don’t know very much about Indian politics, but I did learn some things about you that I very much admire.

I paid a lot of dues and worked very long and hard to get my education. It seems you paid dues for your education as well. Another thing I admire is that you converse with all types of people you encounter. I have always been willing to talk to just about anyone I met.

Everyone knows something we don’t and has something to teach us. Is it important what Arun’s political views are? I think so because he probably is representative of many others. Understanding other viewpoints is equally important as formal education. If you believe that change is needed, that type of knowledge is particularly valuable to you.

Thank you for a very informative post. Have a great weekend! 🙂

  13. Thank You Very much For Such a Beautiful Appreciation. I Think By Talking To Others We Get Closer to Ourselves.
I Think Arun Is Important Because He Is Common Man and Billions of Indians are Like Him. Even I am One Of Them. In India It’s Not about Right Or Left Wing. It’s Little Bit More Than that. Thank you Again For Such Kind Words 🙏🙏🙏🤗🤗

  14. Interesting how you have roped in so many ideas in one article, common viewpoint, classes, and that background of sipping tea at a roadside dhaba…very creative.

  15. That’s a Very Materialistic and Communist Approach. Truth Is Relative. That’s True But That’s Half. Truth Is Relative To The Absolute. To Be Relative To Something, There Must Be Something Constant, That’s Pure Science, That’s Pure Philosophy. Your Truth Is Yours and Mine Is Mine But Both are Parts Of Same Reality. A Poor Kid In The Street Of Delhi Had Seen a Very Different Kind Of World. A Cruel World. The People Of Air Conditioning Can’t Even Think Of That. You Have an Entire Life To Discuss Economy and Religious Harmony But There are Few Seconds To Decide To Kill Someone Who Is Raping Someone’s Family Members. Reality Is Bitter and Heroes are Even Bitter. Meanwhile Enjoy NDTV Good Times and Have Fun. Let Us Suffer In This Bigotry and Communist Ideological Perspective. It’s True That World Belongs To You Guys But It Is Made Of Blood and Flesh of People Like Arun and Me. 😂😂😂😂🙏🙏🙏

  18. I Personally Think That Giving a dignified To a Large Number Of People Is Not a Government’s Job. Parents and the Person Himself Is responsible for it. But In India We Have a Different Psychology. People Believe In The Leaders. The Hero Worshipping Attitude Is Not New.
Thank You Very Much for Reading and Analysing 🙏🙏
